From 2010-2011 data, half of admitted students reported on quantnet or several other forums. There have been 13 on quantnet and 14 on chasedream.com by far. Considering duplicate reports, we can reasonably estimate the number of admissions would be more than 20. If we again assume that still...
Dear all,
I was WLed by msor, but the ddl to reply to UMich MFE is approaching. I prefer msor but cannot afford losing umich if msor eventually denies me.
I see there already more than 50 ads from quantnet and other sources. And half of them have been confirmed. So could you guys please give me...
I noticed a weird thing: there are only 14 admissions reported here and 10 more reported in other forums. but there are also more than 10 watilisted. normally when a school has sent out most admissions, it starts waitlisting people. so how do you guys think?
I called and then received this message, which looks like exactly the same one many ppl have received before
Thank you for your e-mail. ..We hope to have all admission decisions
finalized by the end of this week. We appreciate your patience.
Best Regards,
The Financial Mathematics Program
I heard from an NYU alumnus that last year NYU sent out ˜70 ADs but only ˜40 registered. I just do not understand why, since NYU is top choice for most ppl.
thanks achilles. at the first glane i agree with you. But i see from checker that quite over 50% confirmed msor as their final decision. so maybe this year is harsh and many applicants have to a program that may not be their first choice.
Nothing received, even without an acknowlegement email. I called the number on the webpage and a lady answered. She said they could not check if they have received my documents and they did no know how to check the status. What shall I do now? thanks guys
Does anybody have ideas about how many people will be admitted in MSOR?
I heard the class size would be 100+. In this case, being waitlisted means rare hope. Am I right?
