Baruch MFE Any interview invite from Baruch MFE?

I heard from some friends that they are conducting the first round of interviews. Good luck everyone!

Know your basic stat, linear algebra, I studied too much of the advanced stuff and didn’t give great answers for the basics. It was a good experience, I had never been verbally grilled on these concepts before so be ready for that!

I only interviewed this morning so I don't know yet. I am not that hopeful. I was caught a bit off guard almost like getting a shot that is too wide open and then you airball. I would say practice explaining things aloud, I found it much harder than when using pencil and paper.

Thank you for your reply. When it comes to explaining your answers, did you just hold your notes up to the camera?

it was really more conceptual, so at least I didn't think there was a need for notes. Maybe that would have been a better way to go.

I see. So when professor gives you a problem, how did you get a problem? (Did the professor introduce the problem orally?)

Did the interview on 26th. A math prof., a bunch of math fundamentals questions. It was good.

Any pointers interviewing with Dr. Stefanica? Will it be Math oriented and C++? One of the interview is supposed to be on C++
