anyone have any idea what gpa schools with MFE programs are looking for? (any example from any schools would be great, even a gpa that you yourself got accepted with)

I would think this is a concern since the space in these programs in small from what Ive heard...

and are there any other considering factors in acceptance?
do they favor any certain undergrad majors?

The higher the better. I think it also depends where you GPA is from. Other factors are GRE scores, personal essay, recommendation, basically the whole admission packet. Obviously it is better to have your undergrad in a technical discipline rather than in humanities or social sciences.

Also, if you've been out of school for a while, then your work experience may carry more weight.

How much does the undergraduate reputation matter in the admission process? for instance, if someone from a highly ranked undergraduate math program gets B+/A-'s in math classes.... as opposed to someone getting A/A+'s in math classes in a decent math program?

It's taken into account, but your gpa is not the entire package. Other things are looked at.
