Columbia MSFE Columbia Masters in Financial Economics

Financial Economics Program by Columbia Business School
This is more stressful than job interviews - for job interviews at least i can always hit my contacts up and ask them how everything is going.

Did they mention in their reply that they will send out an invitation this week? I remembered during the admission event. They indicated that the interview would be conducted during last week Feb or 1st week of March...So maybe they will notice some of us next week?
Anyone hear anything yet?

They said they will be sending out acceptances in the last week of February/First week of March, and that "they will most likely be sending interview invites this week, given that they met about candidates last week". This indicates to me that interview invites will likely be sent this week, so we can interview next week and find out either next week or in the first week of March depending on when we take the interview next week. They don't seem to do rolling interview invites like some other programs based off prior year data anyways, so as soon as one of us has gotten an interview that's probably it.

Wonder if they're actually only interviewing 50 candidates or if it's larger, if it's 50 then that bodes well for all of us in terms of interview->acceptance carry overs

Well, they told me ~50... so I guess we just take it? no way to verify I guess.
