I graduated from a top CS undergrad program in Canada with an adequate GPA (3.43/4) but I managed to get a quant job in a mid-tier buy-side firm in Canada. I am just wondering from this point onward, will my background education matter if I perform well in my job? If I want to jump to the big ones like Jane Street, Citadel, or 2Sigma then will I be ignored for not having a great GPA and any graduate degree? I am considering the OMSCS program of Gatech but not sure if it is helpful for such jump
