How does Quantnet rank salaries? Does it include foreign students who return to their native country and find a job there?

I am just wondering about where the salary figures come from as I am using these stats to decide where I want to go.

Any insight would be helpful. I'd imagine if students go home and work and this salary is included in the average, it may lower it since wages overseas may not be as high as they would be in the US. Just postulating.
