Andy,

I was wondering if there was a way to implement some sort of rating system for the Master Reading List on QuantNet. I know, I for one am going bankrupt buying books on Amazon. At least according to mint.com, I've spent more on books from amazon than entertainment and shopping combined YTD.

Just throwing it out there to see if this is even possible,...quick rating system before cross referencing on amazon.

I take it you mean rate each book individually, sort of having quantnet members rate the books before you buy.
I'll have to think about it but with some creativity, I think we can modify the system to get it done.
In the mean time, you can respond to the master reading list for feedback/review of each book.

Yeah, I know about how Amazon got a more of my money than any other online store.

I've found that books, for the most part, tend to be cheaper on half.com. If I had to guess, I'd say my book purchases are split 70/30 on half.com and Amazon, respectively.
