Hey guys, I am thinking of applying for a MFE program in the US and would greatly appreciate if you guys could evaluate my profile. My goal is to work in quant equity in the US.

Brazilian, Male, Caucasian, 25y
Graduated in 2021 in Economics at a top brazilian school (USP), ~top7% of class.
Worked for 2 years in private equity (1.5y intern + 0.5y analyst in portfolio co)
Worked for a year in fp&a in a tech firm
Currently analyst at a equity hedge fund (2yrs)
I have done my senior thesis on factor investing, finished the WQU DS for Quants I course and have also done a mathematical economics summer course at IMPA (grade B, top BR math school, top10 global).

Would my experience and background be an asset to get into the main programs? (Princeton, UCB, Baruch, ...). What should I focus on to strengthen my application? My goal is to spend the first semester of 2024 preparing for the program (coding, maths refresher).

Thanks guys!

Plus: I was preparing for MFE before getting into the hedge fund job. I was getting about 760-780 on GMAT tests, but got 740 on my first try. Strong in quant (i think top90%)
