I’m looking for recommendations for an online Partial Differential Equations course that is:
• Accredited by a university
• Graded (not just a certificate of completion)
• Fully online
• Preferably as affordable as possible (ideally around $500)

A self-paced format would be great, though I’m open to fixed-schedule courses as well.
If you’ve taken a solid PDE course that fits these criteria, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

I can help provide some value from personal experience.

If you’re looking for some college credit course for PDE, I recommend UIUC’s NETMATH Intro to PDE.

It probably costs 1400-1600 dollars. I’ve spent hours many days looking for all the classes I want but this seemed like the strongest and cheapest one I could find.

I do have to say, if you’re looking for stronger knowledge and progressive growth, @Daniel Duffy ‘s DataSim courses do the job very well. In fact, I’m planning on finishing all the credits I need first to make my transcript stronger and then looking to sign up to a few DataSim courses!

I think in a field like Quantitative finance, it takes an IMMENSE amount of investment to really build the background and knowledge especially through university education.

I’ll tell you now that I’ve been paying from 900-1500 per class so far and I’ve completed 4 as of now.

Yeap, when you are investing into a degree that gives you a job with a salary of $150-200K average first year, it's very short-sighted to find cheap online courses.
You have to put skin in the game to show you are serious, either time or money. Often both. Even when you do all the right stuff, it does not guarantee a good outcome given the competition.
There is no good outcome when you take shortcut.

I 100% agree with this. As an optimist, I like to believe that the universe has a bag of blessings and every time it notices a hard working individual that decides to put in effort and show up every day, the universe will decide to give a blessing. Every one of us is ought to get lucky at least a few times in our lives and the best way to increase our chance is to stay consistent on the goal and show up every time.

No shortcuts indeed. The harder the journey the better the reward
