Did you (or will you) apply to applied mathematics, statistics, compsci, OpResearch (ect.) programs and MFE's?
If you did, or will, how heavily weighted were those schools? I'm wondering how many QN users seriously considered non-MFE routes, and how respected the other route is among the crowd.

If you did considered these programs, consider responding with:
-- Name of program(s)
-- pros/cons for said program(s) against your top MFE's
-- Why you chose the program you did

If it's not taboo, professors please feel free to chime in as well.
