I am in my first week at UCB MFE and I just received an admit from NYU as well. I have a preference to move to East Coast due to personal reasons but I would like to hear views from other people if I should even consider moving to NYU considering I want to work on Wall Street.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm an East coast, big city guy so I'm biased. If Wall Street is your goal then in my opinion, NYC is the place to be.
UCB will help you get a job here as well but why move to the west coast unless you want to experience the beautiful weather there.
Besides, you have personal reasons to move back so the question is a moot point.
What has been your experience at UCB thus far? Is it everything you imagined it to be?
