I am living in the LA area and already employed & want to keep working at current job in private label MBS trading space so I am looking for a part time (either in LA area or online) MFE program to round out my skill set.
I saw the USC Viterbi program which is both online and part time and could work but seems to be regarded poorly on this forum.
Any suggestions??

your options are very limited if you only consider finance related programs: usc, jhu, wustl, columbia cvn, uw... however, you can broaden your scope by including applied math, computational science, data science, stats, and econ programs. you might still want to know a bit about stochastic calculus to understand the term structure model underpinning your monte carlo simulation and cds valuation. i recommend to focus building the toolkits and theoretical/applied knowledge even for unrelated subject. the finance part is better learnt at the job anyway.
