Chicago MSFM UCHICAGO

I just got rejected. Round 2 applicant. I think they are just getting a lot of applicants this year.

Round 1 applicant here... I Still haven't heard back. This is very unprofessional from them after taking $90 of application fee.

Yeah super unprofessional and their replies to emails are sort of like they have no idea what they are talking about.

Are you guys domestic student? If yes then my opinion about visa issue is wrong ...

Nope, nothing yet from Uchicago. I think it also depends on the visa issue (related to Covid-19 pandemic), so the school is not sure whether to accept more students or not.
This is my previous opinion, and I think it’s only applicable to international student.

I think they just want this class of 2020 online and they deliberately pushing the dates so that VISA issues come in at later dates and they have some excuse.

It's mentioned on their website that they will announce the result till April and we're in June and no explanation whatsoever.
I'm thinking I wasted my 90$ on this school.

Hi All, The Financial Mathematics program received an incredibly large number of applications this year. Each week, letters of admission and denial have been sent out. For Round 1 applicants, 98.2% of applicants have received their decision. I am sorry to hear some of you are a part of the 1.8% of applicants who have not. Please feel free to e-mail me at memuir@uchicago.edu to discuss further. I am sorry to hear you felt your application fee was waste of money or even worse, that you think the program would purposefully delay visas for our students. Nothing could be further from the truth, as incoming students can attest that we are currently doing everything in our power to ensure a smooth and efficient matriculation.

Thanks for the response.

Could you please tell what is the percentage applicants from round 2 have received the decision?
