What courses are you taking this semester ?

I'm bringing my Principle of Financial Engineering book by Prof. Neftci to Calibration class to get it signed by the author. ;)
Oops, my version is International paperback version :D

Andy, have you read professor Neftci's other book? I found it very interesting, it is now my LIRR reading :) I haven't read Principles of Fin. Eng. :)

yeah, summer refreshers are the best testament to that :smt120
if that was just a preview... oi vey :D

With one exception :) as it was pointed out elsewhere on the forum, it depends on who is teaching :)

I was looking at the schedule for Spring 2008 and besides Capstone, I took all other courses offered for the Spring. Time to take one selective course ;)

What everyone else takes ? I'm leaning toward STA Regression Analysis or FIN 9770

Here is the list from the MFE website

FIN 9770 Financial Markets and Institutions
FIN 9782 Futures and Forward Markets
FIN 9783 Investment Analysis 3
FIN 9786 International Financial Markets
FIN 9790 Seminar in Finance
FIN 9793 Advanced Investment Analysis
FIN 9797 Options Markets
ECO 82100 (Term I) Econometrics I
ECO 82100 (Term II) Financial Econometrics
STA 9700 Modern Regression Analysis
STA 9701 Time Series: Forecasting and Statistical Modeling

Try to take FIN 9790 Seminar in Finance with Prof. Aronson.

Ask Dan or Cathy, you won't have any problem attending.

STA 9700 and STA 9701 are usually offered in the Fall.

It looks like FIN 9790 with Prof. Aronson is already full.

I could not find the code for capstone. Can anyone help me with that.

p.s. Last date for payment of tuition is August 17.

That would require me to read the full thread.

Besides, Aditya is a shady character ;p
