Hello quants, Would you recommend an applied mathematics MS over a pure mathematics MS? It probably 'depends.' Let's specify those variables. Applied math, mostly concentrating in mathematical economics, with lots of modeling vs. pure math, say, diffeq, number theory, etc. Thanks!
