Swarandeep Singh is a graduate from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology(NSIT), Delhi University. He completed Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology in 2011.
During his college life he has worked on many freelance projects for various organisations.He worked as Manager,I.T. Research and Community Outreach at Software for Education,Entertainment and Training Activities(SEETA).He worked in collaboration with University of Boston researchers,MIT Media Labs,SugarLabs,OLPC to carry out deployment of Sugar on a Stick(SoaS) project.The project aimed at promoting ICT in education in Indian schools.
He has also served as the Director,Event Management and Finance for Computer Society of India-NSIT Chapter and co-founded NSIT Linux User Group(LUG).He has played vital roles in Students' Placement Committee for campus recruitment from 2008-2011.
He joined Sapient Global Markets in July 2011 as a Campus Hire and has undergone a 6 month training in various technologies and aspects of financial services industry.
He also worked for Sapient's Investment Banking Client,United Bank of Switzerland(UBS) for 6 months, where he worked on UBS's data warehouse.He was involved in implementing solutions which required expertise in Oracle 10g,SQL and Informatica.The warehouse provided a full suite of web-based analytic tools to give the intelligence the bank needs to analyze, manage and learn from your orders.
Presently he works with BlackRock in their Financial Markets Advisory on Structured Products and Valuation.Primarily he works on US CMBS,CRE-CDO
