When I evaluate a course, the two things I think about are baseline and the route to learn more. I will further articulate what I mean.. First, I hope to get a solid foundation so that when the time comes, I have the tools to reach out to topics outside the scope of the course and utilize the skills learned in the course to tackle said new problems. That is exactly how I feel about this course. I was able to develop a solid baseline that will set me up for being able to take my learning one step further in the journey of programming. Secondly, when I look at any good course, I can see how much I learned, but even better, I realize how much I do not know, but I now know the route I need to take to learn more. Which combined with the solid baseline previously mentioned makes this course worth every dollar, and all the more reason to take the advanced course as well, because that seems like a pretty clear route to me. I said all of this without mentioning Dr. Duffy, Avi Palley, Andy Nyguen, and Gong Chen. It would be disservice to not mention the combined efforts of all of them who along with past TA's have really made a great course, with a brilliant course forum to go along with it. Thank you to you all and I will be back in roughly 3 weeks to continue learning.
C++ course offered on QuantNet is of high quality, very helpful for those who wants to pursue further study or a quant career in the future.
It is a great course. I have learned a lot.
The course has good quality. The notes provided for each level are concise and well explained. The TA checks all your code and provides useful feedback, I liked that.
Excellent course, couldn't have asked for a better structure
Course is well designed and perfect to give you an introduction to c++. Final level with applications to finance gives a good understanding about how c++ is used in the industry. This course covers all the basics anyone would need to start using c++. Course has met my expectations and has helped me understand basics to start working in c++
The course is very rigorous and challenging, but the material available sets you up for success. The quality and the depth of the course exceeded my expectations. Would recommend.
This course effectively taught me everything that I needed to know about Python before entering my MFE program. Avi is a great TA that responded to the questions I had while not spoon feeding me the answers so it was a true learning experience. While I was not able to finish the course on time to earn the certification due to my program starting, I would highly recommend this course to anyone. The work is manageable and can be finished within the 12 weeks required. I felt confident heading into school, and am more confident heading into the job market with my newly acquired knowledge of Python.
I think the design of the homework is really good. It slowly builds up the skills.

The quality of this course was exceptionally high. This course met all of my goals and then some.
The overall quality is good, good course design and it provides a basic understanding of programming.
Yes. I think the course is well designed and definitely helped me to understand C++ better.
This is the start of my C++ journey. TAs and the discussion forums helped me a lot. This is a very practical course.
This course is heavy in content, from most basic things in C++ to use of boost library. I will be very useful to take this course.
Yes, the course meets my expectation, especially the content of Level 9 which taught me how to price options.
The course completely meets my original goal for taking it. I really liked the hands-on format with the exercises as it forces you to code and create good habits right from the start. The support from the TAs and the community was very good: all questions were answered very quickly and clearly. I learned more than I thought I would from the course. I recommend it to literally anyone who wants/needs to start learning C++ formally.
I really enjoy this course, in which I learnt a lot. The quality of the course is very good, and I sincerely appreciate my TA's guidance and all the learning resources. It enables me to have a complete and deep understanding of essential C++ topics and their applications to Quantitative Finance.
I know now the basics of C++ and will leverage this knowledge in my future MFE studies.
I joined this course for the purpose of gaining beginner to intermediate level C++ concepts and usage in Finance industry. I was always curious to code in C++ for Option pricing, given my math, computer science background, and working in Finance Industry. This course has given me strong concept in Generic Programming and OOP, with initial concept on Option price calculation. All video lectures by Daniel Duffy is within certain time limit to grasp concepts, and practical program run in each video made concept more clear. I can't say enough about my TA, for each assignment he had his feedback on my code ready withing 12 hours, faster than my expectation. Moreover, on each feedback, I went back and implemented comments before proceeding to next level. It made each level concept lucid, true to say ""practice, practice, and practice"". It is always good to practically program to learn concept than reading book. Home Works are well design. It is best course for anyone who truly wants to learn C++ for their own interest at professional or personal level. Course site is easy to work, search for questions which might have answered already in forum, navigation, topic aggregation.

Best and substantial course.
The quality is very good.
