C++ Programming for Financial Engineering

This was a great course. The TA was very helpful to help grasp the material, and I would strongly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning C+. Avi was a great TA.

I enjoyed the time studying the course. I strongly recommend this course to everyone who has background in actuarial science and finance with little knowledge in programming. You will know how to compute option price using computer instead of pen &paper. My TA is really active on the forum and always respond my question immediately. I definitely will take the advanced certificate in near future.

This course is so helpful!!During this course, I learnt a lot about c++ and how to use c++ to solve financial problem. And TA is very nice and helpful, he answered questions very quickly.

I am very happy after finishing this course. I believe this is one of the best online C++ courses you can find. You will get a good understanding of basics of c++ and libraries(STL and Boost). Do not expect spoon feeding from your TA but they will be very helpful in guiding you. You will get prompt replies on course forum. I will recommend this course to anyone who wish to learn C++.

TA is so nice, he stays online nearly every day, and will inform you in advance when he too busy to help you. Once he even helped me until 2am, pretty responsible.

The class is presented in a proper way, which include a lot of features in modern c++. The video is not hard to understand but the HW is challenging. Really helpful to improve your programming skills.

I believe the biggest advantage of this course is the forum. You can start a heated discussion with others by simply post a thread. AP and even Daniel himself will join the discussion. Innovation sparks through the discussion.

This class has open the gate of C++ and leave me a solid foundation to deal with challenges in the future. Really glad to be part of Quantnet.

Great experience in the course thanks to an excellent TA, Avi. Now I feel very comfortable using C++ when I had no previous experience using it before the course.

The homework in this course is very helpful. There are detailed instructions so that I can get familiar with course content by doing homework. And there is much helpful discussion in the forum.

It's a great online course, I learned a lot from it. I had no coding experience before this course, and this course introduced the programming world to me. The materials are very useful. My TA is always willing to help and give immediate feedback on questions. I do recommend the course.

This is a fantastic course for a hands on experience into the basics of c++. For beginners ,especially those who are afraid to deep dive into the turbulent waters of C++ ,this is an excellent resource which motivates one to find out more. The best part is ,the course exposes the student to the motivations behind design choices and implementations in C++.

Course is wonderful, especially STL, template and boost, I didn't learn about these before in the programming courses in my university

TA is very helpful and responsive. The materials are very useful and prepare me with the quant finance knowledge. The only thing is that Level 9 was very hard for me since I'm a mac user, but I think I'll switch to windows after accepted into a graduate program.

The overall quality of the course is high and worth the money.

The course is very good for MFE participants especially in providing a well organized C++ lectures. Before the course, I have used C++ during my internship but I don't have a true understanding of the language and spend a lot of time in figuring out problems that should be easy to find if the course had been taken.

As for my TA, I have to say that he is one of the best guys that I have met who tries to help me and answer every one of my questions and give me suggestions, I will definitely give all my thanks to him for such a good experience with him.

This is generally an intensive c++ course with a wide coverage of the scope. It requires time and energy devotion, but helps me strengthen my programming background. The TA is helpful and the discussion in the forum is great as well.
