University of Calgary - MSc in Mathematical Finance

The MSc in Mathematical Finance is offered through University of Calgary’s Department of Mathematics & Statistics (Faculty of Science) with a specialization in Mathematical Finance. It offers both MSc and PhD degrees.
There are two versions of the degree:

• Thesis-based: students take one seminar course and five graduate-level courses (including required ones) plus write and defend a thesis.
• Course-based: students take one seminar course and eight graduate-level courses (with required selections) plus a project (rather than a full thesis).

Thesis-bases students do not pay tuition. There are part-time options for both versions of the degree.
