hi remylbeau, i have also been admitted to Columbia MSFE. i think its a great idea to have housing with students belonging to different programs, it will definitely help us in terms of sharing resources and information.

yeah as far as point ii, iv are concerned, we need some digging. although the people with whom i have interacted did not in any way suggest what has been put forth in point ii.

no, i never received any formal communication from Columbia. rejection was only speculation since i had received no interview invite when the bulk of the candidates did. Did you received anything from them yet?

I received no email whatsoever from Columbia until now. I called them up on Feb 29 and the lady on the phone told me that they will be sending the final batch of rejects/redirects to MSOR by March 1. I hope that she really meant this and did not say this just to give me some false hope.
