The Associate Director of Industry for Baruch MFE - did not take her too long to see a different opportunity somewhere else or was the program too challenging?... We all know is not easy to get in the program, but...was it too challenging? or it was just “informative”? Who knows?…

Who goes from Top 1 Program to work for a program ranked number…14??

Folks - future students, you want to go down this path into financial engineering field? There are only two programs which you will be taking care of:

1. Berkeley – Linda and

2. Baruch MFE – Dan (did some “research” on my own and they are doing well…). Hats off.

CMU- it is starting to lose its “steam”, sure go there and…you will figure something out.

If you don’t get in these programs you may start considering:

Columbia, Cornell, Fordham and NYU Stern or NYU Courant, or better re-think your career path!...

But NO NYU Poly.
 
I didn't understand this post. The first paragraph went completely over my head.

What is you claim? That CMU is slacking off?

I am a student of Tandon MFE. I believe that in the near future, our program can be as good as Baruch MFE.
 
Lol I'm not familiar with this Tandon program but the posts in that thread are definitely intimidating.
