Hey guys I have posted in other sections and been completely ignored.....sigh...hoping for better luck in hereAbout me. Actuary(more specifically soon to be ASA by year's end)4 years work experience as an actuarial assistant.Long story short i want/wanted to be an investment actuary. Opportunities using traditional avenues are hard to come by (not helped by the fact that I am on a h1b visa....soon to get my GC though) while opportunities in the more interesting non traditional roles are looking for FSA. I am seriously thinking about doing an MFE program. Baruch or ColumbiaI know Columbia has a great name and reputation but I am just wondering if Baruch can afford me the same marketability once I have completed the program in helping me get a jobIf you are wondering why I am interested in MFE its because as actuaries we get quite a bit of exposure to this material (and I have always had a love for programming)Take a look at the syllabus of an actuarial exam I am studying forhttp://www.soa.org/Files/Edu/edu-2013-fall-exam-quant-fin-invest-core.pdfAny advice would be much appreciated
