Have been preparing for a MFE program for longer than a year and about to apply now...

Can anyone give me some advice on selection of programs?

My background is as follows:

31 years old...
Bachelor degree in management from a top 3 university in PRC, GPA 2.8/4
MBA in a top university in Singapore, GPA 4.2/5
CFA, ACCA holder
GRE (twice) V159Q168 & V157Q170
GRE maths sub 76%
QuantNet C++ ongoing
read a number of books about R and matlab programming

my job is mainly about direct investment and project finance, in a SME
doing cooperate finance modeling everyday, with a little VBA coding sometimes...

The reason why I want to do a MFE is that I am interested in valuation and trading of financial products...

Thanks in advance!

You surely have much higher chances in Far East than in US or UK. Nobody in US or UK will recognize how great your schools are, but people in Far East probably will. This can give you an edge there. There are a lot of quant hirings in Far East (not as much as in US or UK though)

Hi Berk, thanks for your advice. Actually I have no plan to find a job in US or UK. Just want to study there...
