Hello, everyone.

I am planning to give thoughts to this subject, and just wanted to hear what people have to say. I have degree in FE and no work experience in the field. Instead. my experience is one of a Java programmer. So the questions are: Should I necessarily know C++(which I don't) in order to pursue algorithmic trading research and career? Or can my Java (5 years experience) be an enough for an entry entry point ?
