I have been trying to get some insight into how Sales and Trading works in India and there is scant information (From what I could find there is no discussion about this on this forum). It would be very helpful if someone could shed some light on how Sales and Trading works in India, how does one break in? What is the comp like? How does the overall industry look like, is it just limited to BBs or are there some more firms which are equally competitive? What are the target unis (especially for masters courses) to break into the industry in India? Any additional info would also help a lot.
