I have seen that on some online resume books a few students have got some kind of certificates such as CFA level 1, C++. I'm now looking at one of the actuarial exams, models for financial economics, which seems to cover some materials of financial engineering including Brownian Motion, Black-Scholes, VaR, etc. I was wondering if there is any certificate that could make you kind of stand out to get a future internship/job interview? Because I notice that some schools such as Cornell and NYU dont have students' GPAs on the resume book, how would companies evaluate students' resume before giving out chances of an interview? Based on their undergrad experiences (I know this sounds a little stupid)? Thanks for any suggestions!
