Hi,
I am a UCL Economics undergraduate with 70+% grade in both years so far, a 4.0 GPA in American terms. I have been told that applying to MFE or MFin courses in the States is going to be a waste of time as I come from a non-STEM background.
Could anyone provide any colour on how true this is, assuming I score well in the GRE, have strong scores in maths + econometrics modules and have adequate experience programming.
Thanks
