Applying to Columbia MFE

Hi all..
I am applying for Columbia's M.S in Financial Engineering. My application is almost ready for submission I am just doing last touch-ups on my personal statement and noticed that they limit the PS to 2 pages but didn't specify if it is double or single spaced. Does anyone know?

same problem here... I am thinking of doing 1.5 instead of double spaced.

Whatever the rule, it's rarely strictly enforced. If your story is very interesting, nobody will penalize you for using 3 pages. On the same token, if your essay is dull, it doesn't matter if it's well formatted.
I've read over 1000 applications and I don't think I ever reject a single one due to the size of the essay.

I applied for Columbia Mfin program on 1 Dec but i have not received any email from them confirming that my application is complete or under review.

Have any of u received any such email .
a bit worried about my app status . tried contacting admissions office but no reply.

They just sent Emails to notice a date of 3rd week in Feb ,on which they would send a message for ad or pending.I've received this and similar as my friends.

The word "friends" kind of scares me . Seems like more than 700 people applied this year. :-ss
