Areas of maths needed for central risk book desk?

I'm a SWE degree apprentice at a BB, networked a lot and found a niche team that does a bit of alpha research in equities (central risk book)

Wanna work there either in my next few rotations (we rotate teams once a year for 4 years), or after I graduate off the scheme

What should I be studying/doing now math-wise or other to equip me for a team like that?

They aren't paying for me btw (apprenticeship levy) so don't worry about that part
