Could anyone please tell me why despite being the QS rank of CUNY very low (>600), Baruch MFE ranks #2 ahead of programs like CMU, UCB, Cornell, etc.? Someone told me that Baruch has very rigorous curriculum leaving less time for other things, literally producing machines. Is this true? If not, what is the reason? Being in NYC?

Well for one there is a difference between ranking schools and ranking similar programs across schools
