Hi
I learnt about the Baruch MFE after doing some research.
I am relocating to NYC for a job at a hedge fund (not an investing role) and intend on completing this qualification as it should set me up well for other roles internally long term (also because I'm interested in this path).
I have some questions:
1. I come from London and I've never heard of this university prior to today. Will this be bad? I graduated from a target in the UK and am worried I'll get auto rejected or something if I don't have Stanford etc on my CV. I'm worried if I come back to London no one will value this Masters (at banks etc).
2. There is a part time option. Has anyone done this? What type of commitment does this require vs full time? I saw it's after 6pm which looks good.
3. There are pre admission courses and then you can enroll. Other than the C++ course I seem to have covered the others. Should I apply for the part time and complete the C++ meanwhile or is it best to complete all pre-requisites (I graduated in 2014 so probably have forgotten some stuff).
Thank you in advance!
