I'm currently working in Big Data for a Fortune 500 financial services firm, and am considering an MFE (or similar) program to move into quantitative/algorithmic trading. I'm currently 29 years old, and noticed that some schools seem friendlier to others for older applicants-- for instance, Berkeley seems to take applicants with wide ranges in age and experience, while UChicago's admissions office told me that most of their program's members are in the 22-25 age range.
Can anyone shed some light on other programs that are geared toward later-career applicants (and those where it would be tougher to fit in)?
Thanks!
