Hi Guys, I want to know the career path for Financial instrument valuation in BIG 4 (mostly pricing energy options , forwards and futures) . I find the role very obvious . The only interesting part is you will know how to read an energy contract and get some information on various commodities. What is the chances of becoming a FO quant ? ( Don't laugh please ) . I have an MFE from a top swiss school. How about from Model Validation to FO quant ? How about a trader ? I trade my own money and I make good profits. I am currently in India and planning to move to US in a year ? Any suggestions on how to build a career ?
