I am a newly-admitted international student of the Cornell MFE program. The university asks me to provide a Financial Certification and emails me an Amount to be Certified of $136,293(estimated expenses for all 16 months). I know that a Financial Certification would usually require only the expense of the first year to be covered, so is it okay if I only certify the estimated expense of the first year in my Financial Certification?

I think you will be better off asking Cornell directly. You are an admitted student, I bet the international office will be really helpful
