Can I simulate a B.S. in Financial Mathematics + MBA on my own?

I might decide to buy textbooks from every course in a 4-year B.S. in Financial Mathematics (or MFE) and the same for an MBA. I will solve all the problems, watch videos, join communities like this one, etc. I’ve had my own office as a stockbroker since 2010 with two kids now ages 6. Transforming a retail practice managing under$10 M into a sophisticated investment company is the best kind of fieldwork. I can’t think of a better internship than launching the practice in 2010 in the midst of regulatory hell. What do you all think?

I can’t imagine the courses only having value when you attach the name of the school. Can I not start my own company having completed 100 textbooks and watching you tube?

I will not apply to a single company for a job. I will not work for anyone else. Can it be done?
