I am an International Student from Bangladesh. I completed my undergrad In engineering and I have an MBA degree. I have got admission offer from RUTGERS MQF and CGU MFE. CGU offered me 30% tuition scholarship and it is quite easy for me to live in los angeles /claremont area as i have got some relatives and known people there.

Can you guys help me to chose between two programs? Rutgers MQF is a bit costlier than Rutgers MSMF and also living cost will be much higher in NY. In addition, by going through the reviews about the MQF program in rutgers, I couldn't took any conclusive decision. Please help.

Rutgers mqf is a top 10 program according to advanced trading (although I think their rankings are flawed to say the least, Baruch not top 10 how?)

i have read the review about CGU before. But, there are some mixed reviews about CGU. So, I am getting confused. Also, Rutgers has 3 different MQF/MSMF programs (if I am not wrong). And currently MSMF program is the only one which is ranked in the quantnet ranking. Any suggestions?

I have seen the list..it is alphabetically ordered. However, 2008's list also includes MQF. what are the chances that same mistake happens twice? and Rutgers MQF official page also mentions about this ranking. What's up with that?

That list is sorted alphabetically.

I've also read posts on this forum that say the MQF inclusion in that article was a mistake. Their MSMF program is certainly stronger than MQF.
Was merely pointing to which program in the list it was :) .
Also was there any consensus to that thread? Looking at the list advanced trading is sticking to its guns and is still including both programs.

Clark Henry what have you decided? Joining BU or Rutgers? have you received any kind of tuition waiver?

I'll go to BU. I did not have scholarship offers from either university. Also, I was offered admission to CGU with a 50% fellowship, but I still prefer BU because I like their curriculum much better. Also, the base tuition at CGU is so much higher than other universities that the fellowships they offer usually just serve to make their tuition competitive. 50% was a big fellowship though, but I still prefer BU.
