Congrats all! Got mine as well. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts because I have offers from UCB, Columbia, and CMU but want to do quant research / trading at a prop shop and am also a current undergrad at UCB so I think CMU is likely the best option for me. Thoughts?

I’d go to CMU, first of all, since you are still in undergrad I’d assume you are still young. UCB’s program moves super fast, sometimes students need a wider exposure and more time to digest the materials. Moreover, if you needed to take data science classes, you can’t go wrong with CMU.

Yes and CMU far exceeds UCB in top prop shops

For me thats all you can ask a school. Did you apply to the Pittsburgh or NYC campus? CMU says jobs prospects are equal for both.

Funny because I said I wanted to do risk management and they asked what would be my plan B as risk management jobs are hard to come by Literally lost for words
