I have offers from CMU (PA) and Chicago, and still waiting to hear back from Columbia.
What are the factors I can evaluate the choices on?
For context, I'm interested in buy-side quant research, but open to exploring other roles (including sell-side) as well. I'm coming right from undergraduate, so my relevant work experience is limited to one quant dev internship. Cost is not a factor.
Also curious: which one of these has the best math preparatory courses?
I'm currently leaning towards CMU given the balanced curriculum, alumni network, and the career services, but I wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
