To be honest, your background is marvelous and way overqualified for any of the program. Don’t get me wrong, I mean the courses will be a piece of cake for you, even probably the most rigorous MSCF, so you can spend much more time doing social/coffee chat/interview prep etc to get you a good job in the US. You will appreciate how lucky this is as many of your classmates may be struggling to find time outside of coursework. Conceded to say, CMU is indeed not deemed as “prestigious” as Columbia and MIT in Asia. However, MSCF is well regarded in the financial industry overall, especially in HK (e.g. got a very high-rank and dedicated alumni in BoA). Singapore probably is more agnostic, as job opportunities are fewer too (you probably know more than me). But I don’t think the so-called brand name of these three schools will put you in any advantageous or disadvantageous position in the resume round. The rest of recruiting counts on your own capability. As an experienced hire, people will look more into your past experiences and how you can contribute than a simple school name like a fresh grad. (PS: Have you considered applying directly to US companies or do some internal transfer? I actually don’t quite understand why you want to go through all the troubles and then go back to Asia again. But if you just like some nostalgic school life, I am afraid MSCF NYC campus won’t satisfy you though I personally recommend MSCF...)
