Columbia MFE course duration

Given the most recent curriculum mentioned on the Columbia MSFE website, has it now become a 16 month program if one wants to do an internship in the summer ?

Have they scrapped the summer start term completely ? Any chance it will come back ?

I don't see how one can complete the program in June the following year. Wouldn't that require the student to do 6 courses per term ?

Most students graduate December. You would be taking courses in Fall/Spring/Fall with a summer internship in the middle.
You can finish end of June if you take Fall/Spring/Summer courses, but hard to fit in an internship in that schedule, and not many students do that as far as I know. Technically possible though. Credits would look something like 15/15/6 or 15/18/3.
