Columbia MSOR Spring Interviews?

Hi All,

I have submitted my application to Columbia's MSOR program for Spring 2015. Based on the tracker information it seems only one person had the interview before admission. Does anyone know if all admitted students to MSOR get an interview invite?

It seems students who were admitted for the fall term had interviews, either for MFE or MSOR.
BTW when did you submitted your application?

Yes, I did. Not sure when they will send out the interview invitation.

@Johnsbbc -- Good to know! Lets see if they send out the invites, if at all. I wonder if we could ask a current/former Spring applicant about this....

I applied for MSOR Spring 2015 too. But I didn't get any response till now.

Did anyone else hear anything about anything? Interview or admit?
And does anyone know by when can we expect a decision?

Based on the tracker info, the spring decisions are given sometime early December

I did not get any response either.
Do they send a mail even if it is a reject or should we assume that it is a reject if we do not get a mail ?

Not sure about e-mail shooting when you get rejected.

But there is communication tab in the application website. They update your status there.

I saw you updated the rejection on tracker, very sorry for that...did you get an email to inform your status? I still did not get anything..

I am sorry for the news. I think at least you should have an interview before any decisions. May I ask for your majors?
