Hi,
I am currently a 2nd-year CS student at Southampton looking to get into Quantitative Trading or become an HFT Software Engineer/Quant Developer, and I need guidance on how to get into a top MSc program:
Currently I am doing the following:
- Leading a Commodities Trading Bot Project with my Quantitative Finance Society (which I am interested in becoming President of next year)
- Looking to do a Research Project in Financial Computing at my University (I could potentially get this)
- I have an upcoming interview at a small trading firm that specialises in Crypto
- I achived a high 2:1 in my first semester
I also have another issue, as I am based in the UK and not doing a Mathematics degree, will I be elligible for Financial Mathematics programs such as LSE Mathematics and Computation, ICL Mathematics and Finance?
I need advice on what do to get in top MSc program.
