Hi everybody, I m Michele from swizterland. I would like to know if there is a ranking of mfe programs including europeans masters, I'm studying mathematics at epfl where there is a good mfe program but I don't know how it is compared to programs such as mfe columbia or mfin MIT. Thanks guys

there's no ranking as far as I know.
however, I heard good things for EPFL, Imperial College (mainly the program run by the Math department), Oxford, Cambridge (not very quantitatitative though), and the master Probability & Finance at University Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris. I guess there are many other valid programs too.

Thanks for youre answer! I heard the big difference rests on the fact that for columbia mfe you need previous working experience but you don't for epfl. Do you have statistics on admission of graduate students directly from college? Thanks

In general, I guess it's really hard to compare US programs with european ones. You should try to come up with your decision. In the end I decided to apply to US programs, with european ones as a B plan.
Consider where you see yourself in the next 5 years. To me -but I may be wrong- the rationale was that it was easier to study in the US and eventually come back to the Euro zone than viceversa (think only about the VISA issue).
After all, I think you may find good programs in both continents.
