I just joined the site, and have found a sea of information. But the problem i am facing is what to do. I work for a firm right now out on long island. I am a licensed broker there but want to go back to school. I would like to work for a major bank or firm on wall street or even a hedge fund.

I don't know exactly what position i would like to hold. I don't exactly know what subjects i should be studying or what major to take. When i attend Baruch College, i don't know if i should take on a major in finance, mathematics or economics. I know my question is a very skimp one but i would really appreciate some help and advice. I don't know if i would go as far as quantitative finance, but something close. I just do not know what major to pursue. I do want to get my masters, as far as my bachelors i am confused.

It doesn't sound like you know what's out there. Read up on the industry, job functions, memoirs, etc. For the small portion of the universe that is quantitative finance, we can help you there (see the FAQ in my signature for links on that)

You say you would like to get a bachelors? Does that mean you are going for a second one, or a first one?
