Hi all! I am deciding between Fordham and Georgia Tech to enroll for this fall. Georgia Tech seems to have a higher ranking but Fordham is located in the heart of New York City and has tremendous reviews on this site. Everyone loves Fordham's program director and the students seem to have close relationships with Fordham professors. Both programs seem to place students in NYC and as someone who wants to earn a full-time position in NYC, which program gives me the best chances of doing so?

Also, Dimitri Bianco has Fordham in his top 5 list of programs along with Carnegie Mellon, and Georgia Tech isn't even in his honorable mention list.

Any help would be greatly considered. Thanks!

I would not necessarily base a career choice on any honorable mention list. Does being on that list gives you any more insight into a program than the data already available on QuantNet?
Let's start with what you want to do after the program. It's different wanting to get a quant trader job at hedge fund or a risk analyst at one of the banks.
Look where each program traditionally places its graduates into, what kind of network with employers they have built, etc.
