How do people ask school A about early admission decision when they have admission from school B?
Do they have to show admission letter from school B to school A, or just claim that they have it?
Will school A verify this claim by calling school B?

Just email program A and ask politely. Some will try their best, others will just ignore. It depends on if program A has a rolling admission policy or has multiple rounds and release decision on a set date.
It does not hurt to try. They won't jeopardize your chance.

The answers to the last 2 questions are no.

Thank you Andy for your reply.

Do you know that for sure (have you talked to adm. committees about this)?

If they in fact do not verify it, isn’t it an invitation for abuse?

One could claim that he/she was offered admission to top 1 school, but email to another(competitor or worse) school asking about early decision.

And this another school may be more likely to offer an admission(or at least take another look at this candidate), since this candidate is so good that he/she was offered admission to Top 1 school.

He/she could prefer NOT to go to top 1 school for whatever reason (not enough money, location, etc.)

I know some people did this, especially to boost their images too, and some did get a fast respond. It is unethical but everyone is eager for an admission so they resort to this. I am not sure if they got caught later or not but I believe honesty is the best policy, especially when you are going to work in Finance area where the images have been damaged recently due to so many unethical scandals. I think it's best that schools release the results all at one time so that it is fair for everyone
