how to be a strong applicant for math finance program?

now i am currently a freshmen at RPI. MY major is applied math and com sci.

I am curios that what is the most important aspect of application, which gonna boost my chance to got it to

top math finance program??

Your background seems fine. Math grades, good GRE, strong LORs and a good statement should get you through. There is no way to compensate against good GPA unless you have extremely apt WE. As long as you do have it, I believe you should get through fine. Please go through posts in this forum and research on Do's and Dont's.
