I need help with choosing my thesis topic

Hey,

I am a undergraduate student of computer science. It's my last year and I have to write a thesis. I am taking some courses in finance/economics as the subject interests me a lot.

I would like to write a thesis combining computer science/math/finance. Can you please suggest me some potential topics? Please note I am pretty fresh in finance.

For example, one earlier student had a thesis named "Discrete mathematical models and algorithms for evaluating stock options". It combines all those fields and it doesn't go too much in depth.

Why not write a paper on the efficiency/accuracy of the many option pricing methods?

I also thought I could do something in general with monte carlo methods.
