Hey,
One of the most important things for me when looking at companies is the culture they have. Obviously, this can be a difficult thing to define, but people know it when they see it. Investment bankers work all day and night, are all about prestige, and live for bottle and models. Tech companies let employees work in jeans and sandals, and they play ping pong at work. These are generalizations, but they come from kernels of truth. How would you describe the cultures of quant hedge funds and prop shops, generally and individually for ones you have personal experience with.
