You mention your age which is less of an issue IMO compared to the perceived skills 'hole/hiatus' in your case. For example, no offence, but developing Web applications is in general no preparation for the programming jobs in finance. And lack of a decent maths background is a big handicap. And from what I see many masters CS courses fall short of any decent maths content. I have 10 years' of experience in web development What kind of stuff did you typically do? You are young enough; trading is not the only profession in the world...
